In 1953, in the village of Rocca Santo Stefano, with strength and passion, she opened the "Alberobello" restaurant and pizzeria, which soon became a landmark in the Roman province. Over the years, the tradition of cuisine merged with the art of dough leavening. Nonna Rosa passed down her values and secrets to her son Marco, who skillfully combined these ancient traditions with innovation, thanks to the support of the new generation, particularly her two grandchildren, Rosa and Gian Marco.This is where the story of Papanostro begins. It was born from the idea of creating a natural continuation of the family business. In 2022, Papanostro opened its doors—a pizzeria that narrates the past, present, and future in a new setting: the Roman neighborhood of Centocelle!In 2023, just over a year after its opening, Papanostro earned the prestigious two slices recognition from Gambero Rosso.
